Breckenridge Opens Chair 6

With amazing snow conditions after a Thanksgiving blizzard, Breckenridge Ski Resort will open Chair 6 today with partial back bowl openings on Peak 8 by the weekend, taking Breckenridge"™s skiable terrain to over 500 acres. With more snow in the forecast, guests should keep a look out for more terrain openings all week. Skiers and riders will be able to experience some of the local"™s favorite runs from Chair 6, famous for soft snow and great trees; Solitude, Amen, Snowbird and more will all be opened today.

"This is a great kickoff to the holiday season, allowing our guests to experience our high altitude skiing and riding," said Lucy Kay, Chief Operating Officer at Breckenridge Ski Resort. "Our mountain staff has done a fantastic job of utilizing their skills combined with Mother Nature to open this terrain."
