While you were chillin', Aspen/Snowmass went to D.C. to lobby on climate change

May 14, 2014

Director of Sustainability for Aspen Skiing Company, Matt Hamilton, recently traveled to Washington D.C. to lobby on Capitol Hill. His mission: ask senators to address the damaging and accelerating impacts of climate change. Hamilton traveled with BICEP (Business for Innovative Climate & Energy Policy) an advocacy coalition of businesses including the likes of Ben & Jerry’s, Burton, Nike and Starbucks. Just a nice little reminder that while you’re probably straight gillin’ on the couch right now, web surfing up a storm, some others are out there busting their butts. Good work, team.

To take action like BICEP, you can sign the Climate Declaration (as an individual or a business) via climatedeclaration.us.
