Elyse Saugstad and Jackie Paaso Launch Women's Freeride Camp

Learning from your friends is good. Learning from the pros is better. Learning from two of the best to ever do it is unbeatable. That's the opportunity you have if you sign up for the new Uthrive freeride camp from Elyse Sautstad and Jackie Paaso next winter.

Yes, two of the best in freeride are leading an all-women freeride camp in St. Anton, Austria. From February 27 through March 6, 2027, the pair will be joined by 12 lucky participants. The week will focus on skiing, with time intentionally spent building confidence and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Hailing from Alaska, Saugstad has long been a notable name in freeride. After winning the 2008 Freeride World Tour, her career continued to skyrocket with film parts and accolades pouring in, including being named FREESKIER's Female Skier of the Year in 2018. Paaso, having been molded by Maine's Sunday River, is another legend in the freeride scene. From Snowbird to Palisades Tahoe and everywhere in between, she's claimed titles and acquired an acclaimed reputation for her cool and calm presence in the mountains. Three seasons ago, the pair released "Here Hold My Kid," a sensational ski film packed with comedy and ripping turns that explores how these two continue their lives as pro skiers while juggling the chaos of motherhood.

They've seen every corner of the ski world, and so they know how to do it right, which is exactly what you'll get at the Uthrive Freeride Camp.
