It can be hard to afford both a resort and a touring boot, which makes hybrid boots so appealing but there are often performance compromises. This is not the case with the K2 women’s Mindbender 115 BOA. Sticking to the new precision-fit trend that is BOA’s Fit System, the Mindbender 115 BOA W offers more advanced skiers a hybrid alpine touring boot in a stiffer flex than what usually comes standard for women’s boots. Where some hybrid boots can feel flimsy on resort hardpack, the Mindbender 115 BOA W’s Powerlite shell rides comparably to a full alpine boot without the bulk and the BOA technology enables the Mindbender to micro-adjust the last of the boot from 97-mm up to 100-mm for a comfortable, locked-in feel. Coupled with the PowerFit Pro Tour liner, which is heat-moldable for an even more personalized fit, this boot is fully stocked to tackle technical terrain with power and precision.
Note: This is last year's model and may have limited availability.
