We’ve come to know Head’s Kore collection over the years for its lightweight yet stiff personality. For 2026, the brand unveils the new Kore Ti collection with updated shapes, rocker profiles, core constructions and flex profiles for a completely reinvigorated series.
Head beefed up the Kore Ti series with a heavier construction, moving in the opposite direction of most brands. The unisex models consist of karuba and beech wood, while the women-specific models, including the new Kore 99 Ti W, feature a lighter poplar and recycled polyethylene plastic combination known for its impressive strength-to-weight ratio.
Replacing the old Kore 97 W, the new 99 Ti W is roughly 200 grams heavier per ski with the addition of two layers of Titanal. However, when getting on the ski, the weight gain is barely noticeable while the increased stability and dampness is palpable. During testing, we found that the 99 Ti W loves to turn, both on groomers and off piste. It’s easy to intiate a turn and at higher speeds this ski feels quiet and smooth over varible snow.
You won’t catch us taking this ski into the terrain park—that’s what Head’s freestyle Oblivion series is for—but you will find chargey skiers like Jess Hotter rocking the Kore series for its reliable ride on big mountain faces and features.
