The Best Ski Boots of 2026
Oct 1, 2025
A favorite of female skiers with narrow feet and an appetite for aggression, the Mach1 LV 115 W has become a go-to boot for ladies around the world. This year, it features a redesigned spine and shell shape that further improve the boot’s responsiveness while making it more accessible to a wider range of foot shapes.
Tecnica has increased the volume above the instep and around the ankle which also enhances the ease of entry and exit. If you’ve tried this boot before without success, we highly recommend trying it again, as a few millimeters can make a significant difference.
The other major update involves the T-Drive 2.0 system in the spine, which has gained popularity for its exceptional skiing feel. This system consists of composite material positioned on the outside of the spine and, new for this year, on the inside as well. This dual placement provides a more progressive flex throughout the boot. The system also stores energy efficiently through the turn, allowing the boot to snap back upon exit—creating an engaging and responsive feel.
Note: This is last year's model and may have limited availability.
