Last season the Reckoner 102 W got a complete refresh, making it more durable in its construction while sporting the same shape and rocker profile as the original. This update maintained the confident and capable personality of the ski while elongating its life with upgrades like a new aspen veneer wood core, additional carbon and capped tip and tail. These small details add up when you’re abusing these all-mountain sticks day in and day out.
The Reckoner 102 W is super lightweight on the feet, which makes popping and jumping effortless while the added carbon and updated wood core provide strength and power through most conditions. The Reckoner is happiest pressing and buttering, thanks to its mid-soft core and substantial rocker. It’s the ski of choice for style queen McKenna Brown, whether she’s ripping through an icy park, boosting off slush bumps or locking in on a new rail trick.
Soft snow and playful terrain is where the Reckoner 102 W shines, but it’s versatile enough to have a good time on groomers when you’re just linking turns to the next feature. A relatively short turn radius allows for snap changes and the all-mountain twin rocker profile maintains a longer effective edge than the more powder-centric Reckoner 110 W, without veering anywhere near a directional shape.Â
If you’re someone who tends to spend as much time as possible in the air when cruising the mountain, the Reckoner 102 W is an energetic ski that inspires playing and experimenting.
