In the world of alpine ski boots, it’s hard to reinvent the wheel, but Lange was able to stray from the norm when the brand launched the Shadow collection last year. This year, the Shadow boots remain unchanged and the dual pivot and suspension blade are still the key players of this boot’s unique performance. The women’s Shadow 95 mid-volume boot rocks a 95 flex—stiff enough for intermediate skiers to push their limits yet still approachable enough for less confident skiers to control and comes in a 100-millimeter last for slightly wider feet. The Shadow 95 W MV’s dual pivot points and suspension blade in the back connecting the upper cuff to the lower shell are the boot’s star components, which together amplify energy and power transmission with less input from the skier. Ultimately, this makes skiing feel easier and saves energy for endless hot laps at your favorite resort.
Note: This is last year's model and may have limited availability.
