Born and raised in Chamonix, France, his father and grandfather both mountain guides, Sam Favret moves through the mountains unlike anybody else. In his latest video project, Natural Mystic, the former Freeride World Tour competitor seemingly becomes one with the Aiguilles Rouges of Chamonix. Shot entirely on drones, this three-minute film capitalizes on the French skier’s natural ability to flow through his local landscapes with effortless grace and mind-blowing style. Set to the natural sounds of skiing, Natural Mystic is a beautiful representation of one skier’s intrinsic relationship to the mountains.
