What's this ski thing all about? A ski career that inspires middle-aged men? A pristine turn with friends? Socks with unique ventilation patterns? It's hard to say in the modern age, when the content seems to be more important than the experience. But one series is reminding us what's really important on the mountain. You know what that means; it's time for another sensational episode of "Return of the Turn."

Join Marcus Caston as he heads to Snowbasin Resort. With so many prominent resorts in Utah's Wasatch Mountains, Snowbasin can be easy to overlook. But after seeing the steeps, bumps and pow the team finds there, we can confidently say the ski area is well worth a second look. Better than the terrain, we get to see a few turns from Caston's old friend Lucas. He's the living embodiment of good times on skis. Not caught up in any trends (we're not sure he knows what a trend is), Lucas is here for the turns, laughs and nothing else. If you don't like how he rolls, the door is right there.
