In their latest project, ‘One Sandwich Short of a Picnic,’ Dynafit athletes and friends Sawyer Thomas and Riis Wilbrecht set out to live in a backcountry cabin and ski as much surrounding terrain as possible for 30 straight days. What they found once they made the trek in with all of their gear was epic pow but touchy, unstable avalanche conditions. After a close call for Riis, the two decide to keep things mellow until conditions allow for going up high. While some may look at the scenario as a loss, these two still managed to walk away feeling like they scored. Based on the amount of laughs and face shots the two shared, it’s safe to call it a win.
