Sammy Carlson claims gold in X Games Real Ski Backcountry 2014

Sammy Carlson has been crowned champion of X Games Real Ski Backcountry 2014. On top of a nice new gold medal, Carlson took home the $25,000 cash prize. Powder-hound Dane Tudor took home the silver medal, while Joe Schuster claimed the third spot on the podium. In addition to his bronze medal, Schuster also won the this year’s “Fan Favorite” award, collecting a cool $5,000.
