If you spoke to me anytime in late January, you would have noticed that my voice was a little bit horse. Instead of dwelling on the fact that most of the United States was high and dry, we ventured to Roger’s Pass and spent a glorious week choking on deep Selkirk powder. Like Moab for mountain bikers or Yosemite to climbers, Roger’s Pass is a Mecca for the backcountry skier.
