Ski in Jeans Weekend is Back this December at Jackson Hole

One of the best new traditions in skiing, Ski in Jeans Weekend returns to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) on December 5, 2025. This will mark the event's third year, as the resort continues to try and set the world record for, you guessed it, the most skiers in jeans.

The current record was set last winter at Jackson, when over 3,300 riders showed up dressed in denim, ready to rip firm, December hardpack. Topping this number will be quite the feat, but JHMR isn't leaving it to chance. The resort is throwing in a few extra incentives to help inspire skiers and boarders to make the trek and be a part of history.

Lift tickets on Friday, December 5, will be just $35, or extended your trip and ski all three days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) for $199 in total. If you're coming from out of state, rentals will be 50% off and the resort is offering multiple lodging discounts at various places around the village. Plus, with free live music, bull riding aprés parties and a full Montucky booth, the deal just keeps getting sweeter.

To be a part of the world record, you have to make sure your denim is counted. "You must walk through the black arch located outside Café 6311 between 8:30 AM – 3 PM to be included in the official count," the resort statement reads.

Despite firm, early-season conditions, last year's event was a smashing success. Seriously, what's better than opening up the season with 3,000 new friends dressed head to toe in beautiful blue?
