Bob Dylan once wrote the times are a changing, and they sure are… So here I am, head ski coach for SASS, living in Argentina and sharing the art of skiing with kids, friends, and the world. The adventures are unexplainable and can only be known through experience. We had a little slow start to the season but kept busy with an amazing crew and wild activities. Then all of a sudden it happened. It snowed like falling pesos. Seriously, I’ve never seen such big flakes making everyone filthy rich with joy. Without poles, reverse camber skis, and the lack of love for the conventional, I’m dedicated to creating a new breed of skiers. I believe all SASS campers are here for a reason…. to have fun! Unlike other summer options, we ride powder, hike mountains, teach avalanche classes, practice Spanish, build backcountry booters, shred the gnar, and soak up as much Argentine culture as possible. At SASS I can focus on helping our campers realize how lucky we really are to live this lifestyle. Peace. Garrett Russell
