When Trevor Kennison became paralyzed from the waist down after a backcountry snowboarding accident four years ago, sit-skiing was just about the last thing on his mind. That is, until his sister encouraged him to give it a try. Just three years into sit-skiing, Kennison has established himself as one of the rowdiest adaptive athletes in the world after the 26-year-old dropped into the industry’s craziest ski and snowboard competition, Kings and Queens of Corbet’s at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, last February. Sending it alongside some of the best skiers and snowboarders in the game, think Travis Rice, Karl Fostvedt and two-time Queen Caite Zeliff, Kennison went where no sit-skier has gone before, proving the limit to this incredible competition does not exist.
