Unguided skiing at Silverton Mountain resumes April 1

Silverton Mountain will open for unguided skiing on April 1, 2012, with lift tickets for $49.

All you rippers out there wanting to get on the slopes for some fun spring skiing? Craving steeps, corn, amazing weather and a true big-mountain experience?

The moment you are waiting is coming early. Join us this Sunday, April 1 as we re-open the mountain to unguided skiers (this is no April fool’s joke this is the real deal).

Unlike many ski areas this season, Silverton has had a great winter with frequent storms so the base is solid and the mountain is 100% open.

The unguided season will continue April 5-8 and April 12-15. April 15 marks Silverton's closing day of the season.
