Aside from the obvious physical obstacles, the mental aspect of recovery is just as grueling–if not more. For professional skier Tatum Monod, a gut-wrenching crash while filming in Alaska left her with one knee completely obliterated and a 12-plus-month recovery looming over her. In her latest edit, Back and Forth , Monod fights tooth and nail to get back on top of her career and regain her confidence before winter comes again.
