Aside from the obvious physical obstacles, the mental aspect of recovery is just as grueling–if not more. For professional skier Tatum Monod, a gut-wrenching crash while filming in Alaska left her with one knee completely obliterated and a 12-plus-month recovery looming over her. In her latest edit, Back and Forth, Monod fights tooth and nail to get back on top of her career and regain her confidence before winter comes again.
