2025 Pete Koukov Un-Invitational Winners, Recap and Photos

The 2025 Pete Koukov Un-Invitational was an all-time success! A surreal gathering of local riders, talented groms and seasoned pros, the event brought together the freeski community in unparalleled fashion. Stoke was overflowing as riders poured into the Timbers Hike Park at Woodward Eldora to film a 20-second edit and shoot their shot at the prize purse.

Born and raised in Colorado's Front Range, Pete wanted the Un-Invitational to represent the best parts of skiing, all hosted in his own backyard. With an open call out to all comers looking to compete or just hang, the weekend was bound to be a special party kicking off winter 2025/26. Despite having left such an impactful footprint on the Colorado freeski scene, not even the host himself could have predicted such an idyllic outcome.

From the first bullhorn to the last hike, the passion was tangible as the constant excitement built minute by minute. There was no ego and certainly no gatekeeping. This was hours upon hours of collaborative skiing, beautifully welcoming and truly serving as a model for the potential an event like this holds. Gear was given, tricks were landed, photos were snapped, clips were grabbed and we were beyond thrilled to be on scene for it all.

"I can't thank everyone enough who helped make this all possible," Koukov said to dozens of skiers who descended on Goodtimes Boulder to close out the weekend. And now that the edits have been reviewed by the judges, including Koukov and fellow pros, we're excited to announce the winners, with first place taking home $600 and an Ikon Pass, second place taking home $300 and third getting a crisp $100.

It goes without saying, but thank you to Pete and all involved for such an incredible weekend! We hope to see you all at the next one.
