It was a party in Sandon, BC last night as the ghost town was flooded with athletes and guides to kick off the fourth annual Red Bull Cold Rush. Retallack is hosting the event for the second year, and has some gnarly terrain picked out for the athletes show off on. Athletes like Dash Longe, TJ Shiller, Grete Eliassen, Dave Treadway, Sean Pettit, Charley Ager, and many others are set to hit the hand made jumps in Retallack’s West Bowl, hit the big lines off of Texas Peak, and pillow drop the goods off of PME over the next three days.
Here are a few photos from the Cold Rush welcome party, and we’ll keep you updated as the skiing gets gnarlier each day.
