Denim Descends on Jackson Hole for 2025 Ski in Jeans Day

Few things can rival skiing in a good pair of jeans. But making pow turns in head-to-toe denim? That's got to be worth a few bonus GNAR points and ample bragging rights. That's how thousands of skiers kicked off their winters on Friday, December 5, at Jackson Hole, as the resort hosted yet another knock-out edition of Ski in Jeans Day.

Started in 2023, the event has quickly become a JHMR staple. The goal was simple: offer cheap tickets, stoke out the people and smash the world record for most people skiing and riding in jeans. All three of these objectives were quickly accomplished and Jackson's been starting the season with the blues ever since.

The snow was sparse and firm last December in the Tetons, but that wasn't the story this year. Though conditions had been questionable leading up to last week, a storm rolled through the Idaho/Wyoming border just in time. These denim crusaders were treated to a blanket of fresh snow, complemented by a selection of groomers and park features that would make any sane skier smile.

Tickets were just $35 and the resort sweetend the deal even more with discounts on lodging, rentals and free events for all. And if you missed out, don't break a sweat. It's reasonable to assume Ski in Jeans Day will be back next year. "What a day, thank you to everyone who came dressed to the nines in denim," JHMR stated in a wrap-up post on Instagram. "Can’t wait to see everyone next year."

It's also not to late to dial in your trip to the Cowboy State this winter. The resort is celebrating a massive milestone, ringing in its 60th anniversary season. In classic fashion, Jackson Hole is offering a slew of discounted tickets and parties throughout the year. From weekend pass deals to 30% off ticket bundles, there's plenty of deals to take advantage of.
