2013 Freeride World Tour Champion Drew Tabke arrived in Chile in the middle of July to fairly dismal conditions. Tabke describes them via his blog: “Upon arrival, things were quite depressing; really thin snowpack at the ski areas and no storms on the horizon. Then last weekend, quite out of the blue, we got a miraculous snowfall that put conditions back into a great state.” Judging by this mellow, pow filled POV edit, Tabke is telling the truth about the improved skiing in the Andes.
