It's easy to think a rigid plan is a necessity when skiing. But some of the best days on the mountain are the ones where we show up, click in and take a few laps with no objective in mind. No big line to check off, no new trick to learn, just a good crew out skiing for the sake of skiing. That was the goal for the Warren Miller crew last season. After 77 winters of making ski movies, the team decided they'd earned a few "Days Off."

Warren Miller has long been a purveyor of happiness in the wide world of skiing. It's easy to dismiss, but year after year these are the movies that stoke out the young guns and get the next generation hooked on the joy of chasing turns. Their films remind us to relax and not take ourselves too seriously. It's an idea that gets lost in today's world of constant progression, but one that's all the more important to remember.

Japan, France, British Columbia, Utah: you name it, this crew skied it. With appearances from Sam Kuch, Pep Fujas, Kaylin Richardson, Ted Ligety and others, there's some true skiing royalty to be found here. Catch the full trailer for "Days Off" below.
