Meet the badass General Manager of Alta Ski Area, Onno Wieringa

Nearly 45 years ago, Onno Wieringa showed up at Alta Ski Area with essentially zero plan. But, within a few days, four feet of snow had fallen and one thing became certain: he wasn’t leaving anytime soon.

Fast forward to today and Wieringa is the General Manager of the resort; he worked his way up the ranks after ski patrolling and bartending in the area for years. And, now, this legend is moving onto the next chapter of his life: settling down in Montana with his wife.
