Skiing in the Alaskan backcountry is dangerous—plain ‘n’ simple. The area is untamed, the terrain is massive and every decision is just as important as the last. To help skiers understand the gravity of heading out there on two planks, Henrik Windstedt is releasing a video series dubbed Sketchy Lines in which he walks you through what it was like to make it down various gnarly objectives. Here, in episode three, he focuses on the managing wind drifts and funnels. Enjoy, and stay safe out there, folks.
