You might know Marcus Goguen as the 2025 Freeride World Tour men's ski champion. Or maybe you've just seen one of his many, many psycho clips floating around social media. Either way, he's become one of freeride's more recognizable names over the last two years, which puts him in a great position to host a contest this spring looking for the best send of last winter.
Aptly titled the Send of the Year contest, Goguen has partnered with his physical training company of choice, Adrenaline Performance, to award two senders $500 each and copious bragging rights. The open-submission contest gathered 75 entries from skiers across the globe, and the results were staggering.

Goguen narrowed down the onslaught of clips to just 11 finalists, posting them on Instagram and asking people to weigh in. Loui Windstedt, Drew Mazzie, Kaleb Hawkinson, Mike Emmet, Isaac Kaufman, Dawson Cote, Callum Stephen, the mysterious ws_2bro, Anton Holter, Tommy Laurens and Gen Sasaki made the final cut. Watch all the finalists in the post below.
Voting is currently open through May 28. All you have to do to vote is comment on the handle of whoever you believe deserves to take the win. We'll warn you, it's no easy choice. There's double backflips, quad backflips, wild big mountain lines, front flips, dub misty variations... it's hard to narrow it down to just two.
As Goguen said in the contest announcement, one of the best parts about skiing is being blown away by a rider you've never even heard of. The talent pool out there is as inspiring as it is deep, so take a look through each of these clips as you look back on another winter in the books and toss a vote.
