Every year, Josh Berman and the Level 1 family gather some of the best up-and-coming freeskiers on the planet for another edition of SuperUnknown. With pros and Level 1 alumni being added to the roster a few years ago, the event has turned into a true renaissance of freeski culture; a real thing of beauty.
And while the skiing is incredible, the filming deserves praise. This year, for SuperUnknown 23 at Banff Sunshine Village, four filmers were invited out to compete for the title of FilmerUnknown. Armed with their own gear and unique visions, they captured the action throughout the week and assembled their own recaps. Add in Level 1 editor Walter Wood's mixtape, and you've got five different visual interpretations of how SuperUnknown 23 went down.

Our friend Walter Wood came out to SuperUnknown this year as our editor, creating the internal video for the athlete group to vote on our winners.
