It's time for another blessing from the Matchstick Productions vault. The MSP crew uploaded this iconic segment featuring Cody Townsend, Richard Permin and Markus Eder in the great wild of Alaska. Taken from the 2014 classic, "Days of My Youth," we find these three legends dishing over what it takes to really ride big lines in some of the biggest mountains on the planet.

Even those who have trained for years can make mistakes in AK. We hear Permin remark, "I thought it was just 10 meters... it was actually massive," as he flies off a 50-foot rock. Of course, he lands it, and of course, he considers 10 meters (30 feet) to be small, but the point is that in Alaska, the size of the terrain and the consequences are all increased. But those steeps aren't going to ride themselves!

From YouTube:

What type of mindset does it take to drop into a massive face? In this 'Days of My Youth' (2014) segment, Richard Permin, Markus Eder, and Cody Townsend push into the raw, intimidating terrain of Alaska. It’s not just about pointing the skis downhill; it’s about trust, precision, and reading the terrain that changes with every turn.
