Whistler has bears. Tons of them as a matter of fact. It isn’t uncommon to see 2-5 bears on your lift ride up to the glacier. Don’t worry, they aren’t grizzly bears. You know, the kind that will tear you apart like a kleenex at a snot party. These are the brown bear variety, indigenous to North America.
Turns out these guys eat plants, insects, and small and large animals. Sucks, I wanted to feed them a camper or two.
