Faction Skis rider Koga Hoshino grew up in the flowing terrain and bountiful snow of Japan. His style, fluid and effortless, reflects this environment with an uncanny likeness. That beautiful flow is something many of us spend our lives trying to imitate on skis, but never truly find. Hoshino is proof that it's out there; you just have to work for it.

In "TASK," we get to see the Japanese local sample the goods in his favorite zones. Yes, there's plenty of deep pow and smooth lines to go around, but we also get a dose of spring riding, something that gets minimal credit in Japan even though their ample snowpack yields fantastic, soft riding late into the season. Filmed and edited by the talented Yuki Murayama, this project should not fly under your radar.

From YouTube:

I named it "TASK," imbuing it with the feeling that "I will continue to challenge myself without changing," in honor of him who lives on in my heart.
