Lindsey Felsch

My name is Lindsey Felsch, I grew up in beautiful Lake Tahoe, California and have been an avid skier since I was 3 years old. As the daughter of the Director of Ski School at Alpine Meadows skiing was literally an everyday thing for me. Instead of day care my dad would take me to the ski school locker room. I would run around the locker with my pink one piece snow suit and matching helmet, anxiously look for one of the instructors to take me out and give me a lesson. As soon as I turned 4 I started out in the Kids Camp and then quickly progressed to the Development race team until I was 9 years old. Then I developed an interest in moguls and jumps and began skiing for the Alpine Meadows Freestyle team for 4 1/2 years. I had the opportunity to ski with many freestyle stars such as Glen Plake, Wayne Wong and Olympic Silver Medalist Shannon Bahrke. Under the guidance of Shannon Bahrke I realized that skiing was my passion. She helped me achieve medals of my own and gave me a goal in life to be the next hottest freestyler out there. After the freestyle team I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my dad. I wanted to share what I loved most with other people and I began teaching skiing to kids of all ages. It’s so gratifying to teach someone what you love. All through high school I skied competitively at North Tahoe High. Now I am a full time student at the University of Nevada, Reno studying Journalism and Spanish. Although I no longer ski competitively I still ski for fun and am always the first girl out on the slopes. Skiing has always been a part of my life and without it I would have no adventure. I would love the opportunity to become a Lange girl. I feel like I could represent Lange with not only my abilities as a skier but also with my outgoing personality. This would be the greatest opportunity a girl could ask for. I have always been in the ski industry and would like to take it a step further whether being on the slopes in a competition or reporting and interviewing competitors. I feel that a Lange girl is so much more than a sexy girl in boots! She first has to be a good skier and beat all the guys down the hill. Second she has to be a strong outgoing girl passionate about what she does. Most importantly she should be a role model. I feel that I am the perfect girl to fill these boots! I am an outgoing athletic girl who always has a smile on her face! Most of all I Love to Ski!! So vote for me and I won’t disappoint you!
