California is now open for the 2010-11 ski season! Mammoth Mountain spun up the lifts yesterday under clear skies and warm weather.
Over 2,200 guests showed up, six lifts ran and over 2,000 vertical feet of terrain was open for all to enjoy. Mammoth also opened with an impressive early season park featuring an array of features including boxes, rails and a jump.
If you live in California, forget your surf plans (the swell sucks this weekend anyways), ditch the “california girls” and head on up to Mammoth ASAP!
