To Pole or Not to Pole that is the Question

Scott USA created the first aluminum ski pole in 1958 and we think that ski poles are an essential part of skiing. Recently we have witnessed some skiers skiing without ski poles. We wanted to create a contest to know if you are for poles or against poles.

We are looking for a “Late Night with David Letterman” style Top 10 reasons to ski with (or without) ski poles. Submissions can be videos or text. The winner will receive a hardgoods package from Scott USA including a pair of 178 P3 skis, team issue poles and goggle of your choice. Places 2 through 5 will receive Series 4 ski poles.

HOW TO ENTER

Create a video with your webcam that has your top ten list, upload it to Freeskier.com. When you’re done uploading the video use the tag “Scott Pole Contest” and you’ll be ready to rock.For those of you without webcams, you can write a news story on Freeskier.com.
