Keri Herman added a nice, new, shiny Dew Cup to her trophy case this afternoon. The Minnesota native, who now calls Breckenridge home, skied her way to slopestyle gold with a run that consisted of a 270 out of the first rail feature; a front 270 out of the second rail; a switch 720 safety; a switch cork 540 Japan; a front swap on the Toyota Rail feature; a 720 safety and a right 720 tail on the last jump. The judges awarded Herman an 87.50 for her efforts.

Making the victory all the more special: Herman competed in front of her close family and friends this afternoon.

Maggie Voisin, who topped the slopestyle qualifier earlier in the week, elected not to take her second run after suffering a slight tweak of the knee on her first go-round. Canadian Kim Lamarre also suffered an injury on the day; we’re wishing her all the best in a speedy recovery.

Men’s slopestyle finals are going down on Sunday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. MST. Be sure to tune into @FreeskierLive on Twitter for all of the action and dewtour.com for a live stream of the event.
