Due to massive amounts of snow and wind, Take the Lake Triple Jump Line Competition has been canceled. Apparently, mother nature wanted everyone skiing powder rather than hitting 80 foot jumps! Tahoe has been getting pummeled with snow, receiving over four feet in the past two days, and it's not slowing up.
Alpine was able to host an open rail jam Saturday night from 4 to 6 PM, despite all the new snow fall. There were three rails: down kink left rail, flat down rail and a flat box. They gave away tons of raffle prizes to competitors and some cash to winners.
