The 2026 Winter Olympics delivered plenty of memorable moments for the U.S. Freeski Team. Across halfpipe, slopestyle and big air, we watched some of our favorite riders put everything on the line. Sometimes the dice didn't roll their way, but that's all part of the game.
No matter the outcome, simply making it to the Olympics is an achievement in and of itself. And U.S. Ski & Snowboard partner Stifel made sure to point out a few athletes who deserved major recognition in the fourth-ever Stifel Awards. Categories include Athlete of the Year, Best Comeback, Most Improved, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year, with each winner earning a cash prize thanks to Stifel.
While the outcomes could be debated (how is Alex Ferriera not on there?), you can't deny that every skier honored deserved their time in the spotlight. Huge shoutout to Grace Henderson, Mac Forehand, Rell Harwood, Hunter Hess, Avery Krumme, Konnor Ralph, Henry Townshend and coach Ryan Wyble for being selected. See the individual category winners below.
