Everyone who was sweating through the month of October in New England can breathe a sigh of relief – Winter is on its way! How do I know, you ask? Easy, I looked out the window a little while ago to see Okemo’s snowguns blowing that beautiful white stuff we’ve all been jonesing for since April! Snowmaking began late last week, and the weather looks great for the rest of the week, which should allow the snowmaking team to lay down a solid base. Opening Day is still slated for November 17th, which means you have just enough time to figure out what shape your skis are in and get ‘em roughed and buffed if necessary! The nightly skiing dreams have begun again, and it won’t be long now before dreams become reality! Stay tuned for more info…
